Simply growing in grace

I heard someone say it is helpful when they’re thinking or praying about their burdens and troubles if they “release” them all to the Lord. They finish their prayer with a statement, a surrender, that brings peace, like a cleansing away of all those difficult things. She says, “I give everyone and everything to You, LORD.” 🙏🏼

“I give everyone and everything to You, LORD.” 

That simple statement stopped me in my tracks. I know the Lord sent that message directly to me. It’s a season where there are many dear people and unique circumstances heavy on my heart and almost always on my mind.

The Lord is so dear to me, I can’t adequately explain it. He is so sweet and kind, loving and patient. He is a strong and perfect Guide. His guidance right now has been especially gentle and tender. He is so gracious, attentive and caring. Most everything is beyond my control or understanding, but “He will perfect that which concerneth me”, Psalm 138:8.

His Sovereignty and His goodness grows my love for Him and my faith in Him. I’m completely satisfied that everything’s alright in my Father’s house…and in His almighty hands. 🙌🏼
